Slight change to the team for this tough test Tony Gilroy replacing Richard Ashton in the rinks

Penny Strong first to finish in the LADIES SINGLES after a slow start winning by 21 shots to 11 against Chelsea Tomlin putting the first points on the board.
Lincoln 2 – 0 Spalding

George Draper v Steven Harris in the MEN’S SINGLES saw the game take a similar pattern to the ladies but the other way around George getting of to a good start with Steven pegging him back to win 21-16

Lincoln 2 – 2 Spalding

The MIXED PAIRS saw the youngsters against each other Chantal Spencer & Jonathan West v Ruby Hill & Jordan Philpott. The away rink totally in control 15-7 up after 10 ends, 19-9 up after 15 ends, winning by 22 shots to 14

Lincoln 2 – 6 Spalding

The MIXED RINKS Rachel Jackson, Lin Mountain, Tony Gilroy, Kevin Rands v J Patterson, L Finbow, Graham Smith, Matt Orrey saw Lincoln get off to a great start 11-2 up after 5, 17-9 after 10 at 15 ends Spalding within 2 18-16. The next 2 ends shared 19 -17 at 17 ends to Lincoln. But looking across to the triples rink no need to play the final end.

Lincoln 6-6 Spalding

MIXED TRIPLES Louise Catchpole, Dean Stevenson, Billy Jackson v Andy Dunham, Analisa Dunham, Martin Spencer close start 7-4 at 5 ends in Spalding’s favour. At 10 ends with some great leading by the opposition backed up by the back end the score was 17-5. 3 ends later 23-10 to Spalding the towel came in from the captain.

Lincoln 6 – 10 Spalding
