Coaching Returns at LIBC - Book Early! from Danny Brown

After the Christmas break our beginners coaching sessions will recommence from today (Wednesday 9th January 2019) with regular sessions taking place on Wednesday afternoons (4.30pm), Sunday afternoons (4.30pm) and Junior sessions on a Saturday morning with Betty.
Before Christmas our coaching volunteers found that there were sometimes more of them than people to be coached! This is obviously a disappointment and not the best use of their valuable time so we've decided to try a different approach to align the number of coaches to the anticipated number of 'pupils'.
If you (or a friend or relative) require Coaching on a Wednesday or Sunday afternoon, please register your name at the bar so that we can anticipate how many coaches need to attend the sessions. Typically there will be a 10 week course of coaching on both days and attendees are encouraged to come back for that period if possible in order to obtain maximum benefit from the sessions.
We would look to these sessions to cover the majority of newcomers/novice bowlers but if you find these sessions are not convenient for you, please do ask at the bar and we will try and put you in touch with a qualified coach to assist you at a mutually beneficial time and date.
We're also looking at developing a CLUB INDUCTION process so that new joiners can quickly become familiar with the way we operate within the club so watch this space.
