Golding Young Christmas Pairs from Howard Jarrold

If you are a new member or perhaps you are a member who would like to try competition bowls but can't pluck up the courage, let me put your mind at ease.
The first one that I entered was the Easter pairs and I lost all three group matches ,( as did a lot of others.) Currently my league team is bottom of the league but I know that my team are working hard to rectify things. The other side of the coin is that I have my name up on the boards at the club, both times as a member of a team, which is exactly the point I am trying to make.
Everyone knows that you win some and lose some and as a team member you win and lose together.
On Thur Dec 14th there is a pairs competition which is an ideal way to be introduced to competitions. Draw for partner . Group stage is 3 games of 7 ends and then knock out. It is great fun and a great way to meet different people and gain experience.
