Lifting of Restrictions on 19th July 2021 from Danny Brown
|
Members will no doubt want to know what changes will take place from Monday 19th July 2021 when the government restrictions are to be lifted. The following is a list of key points to note when visiting the club from 19th July onwards:
* Anyone with symptoms of COVID must not enter the building. Please refrain from visiting the club until you know that you are negative.
* The wearing of masks in the building will be up to individuals. It is no longer compulsory but is still recommended in crowded areas.
* The one way system will go and free movement within the club will be allowed once again. All restrictions on the green are to be lifted.
# Members are asked to respect others who may still wish to practice social distancing whilst in the club please.
* The start times for matches in all leagues will revert to half past the appropriate hour and start and finish on the bell.
* Spectators will be welcome once again and the central aisle seating area will be open for spectating.
* ON the rinks, jacks can once again be cast and mats placed anywhere from the 2m T as normal. Use of the 4m T will cease.
* We will no longer be sanitising mats and jacks after each match. These will be left on the rink as previous. In spite of this, all players are encouraged to use the sanitiser and wash their hands regularly. Bottles of sanitiser will continue to be freely available in the club.
* Pre-Booked rinks will no longer be a requirement. Anyone is welcome to turn up on the day and book a free rink once again.
* The IN door (Hall Drive) and OUT door (Car Park) arrangement will be retained as it reduces the opening of the car park door during matches. The one way systems will no longer apply.
* We will follow government guidelines regarding signing into the building.
Finally, we would respectfully remind all of our members that Covid has not gone away. Please continue to be vigilant, wash and sanitise your hands regularly and respect the wishes of other members you may share a rink or table with.
