At 5 ends not a good start at home Billy’s rink 13 shots down, Kev’s rink leading by 3 shots, better news from away Richard 5 up and Jonathan up by a single shot, the difference 1 shot overall in Nottingham’s favour.
At 10 ends the news from away still good 6 shots up overall, the problem at home down by 16 shots Nottingham lead by 10.
Nottingham away rinks went from strength to strength leading by 36 shots across the two rinks at 15 ends, Lincoln away rinks leading by 5 shots at 15 ends.
As 18 ends approached the home rinks agreed they were been totally out bowled by their opposition and agreed to shake hands putting Nottingham through to the next round.
Well done to Lincoln away rinks doing their bit on the day.
